Jobs Savior! All 850 of them

President-elect Trump negotiated with Carrier Air's parent company United Technologies (UT) to keep a whopping 850 manufacturing jobs in Indiana. UT is still moving 1,300 jobs to Mexico. In return the companies are getting immediate tax cuts from Indiana and a promise from Trump that the alleged $65 million in savings the company would see moving these jobs will be "dwarfed" by the huge corporate tax cuts the Donald is planning.

For those of you who do not remember the financial crisis of 2008 that took the entire world to the bring of a Depression well don't worry chances are you will see it again in 2017/2018. And #ThatsOnTrump

Trump channel will actually happen

A Trump channel will actually happen but it's not what you think. ABC News is developing an online 24 hour news service to provide more Trump coverage. We have often thought a 24/7 news channel that follows the President would be good a la C-SPAN, so we will have to see what develops. Interesting note on Bloomberg news covering 'the nexus between government and business'. As President Trump and possibly his children all having top secret intel along with running the family businesses provides a new dynamic never before seen in America.

Trump saves Ford plant! Trump saves America!

No this isn't fake news but yes we are full of sarcasm. We debated whether to go with this title or use the title "Trump clowns Ford and America". The actual news headline is "Trump claims credit for saving jobs at Ford factory in Kentucky" when in reality the jobs at that factory were never in jeopardy. But one can anticipate this will be what it's like for the next four years, taking credit for good things and shifting blame for all the bad things that happen. It will be interesting when there is a mass shooting or natural disaster to see what happens. We get the feeling that the Trump blue collar workers will know how much they are worth then. Also for New Hampshire voters who Trump promised he would be back for and to rid the state of drug addition, we look forward to seeing that.

Where's the outrage?!

We understand politics is politics, it's dirty. Can't take it, don't do it. But when there is a double standard such as the outrage over Donna Brazile allegedly leaking a debate question to Hillary Clinton people and news media were all over it. Now, after the election, Megyn Kelly of Fox "news" is releasing her tell-all book which confirms not only that Trump tried to influence media during the election with gifts and money but also that he was aware of debate questions leaked by former Fox chief Roger Ailes.

Last night/early this morning Trump called for more roads, bridges, doubling economic growth and airports that will be second to none in the world. He will "drain the swamp" in Washington and build a great wall that Mexico will pay for.
